S.S. Log Turbo manifolds?

the wrap will not really help the manifold live longer and may increase the chance of cracking as it hold the exhaust gas heat in the manifold itself the turbo likes the exhaust gas to be hot and makes more power the hotter the air, because hot air has more volume thus spins the turbo with more force making more boost but trade off is the heat, you need to coat it from the inside the coating actually is a barrier applied to the inside (this coating is similar in formula to the coating use on the space shuttle exterior tiles) and it stops the manifold from absorbing the heat from the hot exhaust gas it will also stop your SS pipes from turning blue as well, if it doesn't,t get hot enough to turn blue it will not likely crack either and the exterior coating is just added protection and aids in the reducing under hood temperatures and heat soak to the area around it like any fuel lines and anything else that is close to the manifold, if you checked the link I posted you should see they have some sick colors it looks similar to anodizing but is more heat resistant than powder coating it's pretty easy to apply with an air brush and it can be cured in a regular oven.

Shout out there cvcdx I see your just across the way in Surrey thats close enough to me I could do that manifold for you if you wanted it done just put that ---- on greyhound parcel express and I could have it back to you by Friday if I got it on a Monday with no problem then you could run your cast and see if it works just as well with your set up as the SS I think the SS is the better for mid and top end. I don't have the colors here in stock they have to come from Texas so I need a week heads up and what color you would like I could do your valve covers and a few other bits and pieces in color to for a few $ extra PM me if you interested and I can give you a good price

well I saw a pantera with a built TT 406 small blk ford that they tuned and it was pretty sick but running Mega squirt and thats pretty easy to tune and I heard some one working there was talking ---- about a SR20 build I did for a local kid I personally have yet to go down there sooner or later I will have to get some ---- on their Dyno unless I make the next big jump and get one of my own but that would mean I would have to spend most of my time tuning to make it pay and I would rather just build as thats what I love to do.
