Exclamation S.S. Log Turbo manifolds?

ok... spoolin' performance has a clean looking log for about 300 ....i cant afford a ramhorn, i know equal length helps spool times/performance but is a stainless steel log much better than running a cast manifold? does anyone have any good non baised dyno comparisons (or is it primarily for show) also if anyone has any FIRSTHAND experience with THIS particular manifold please leave some feedback... included a pic

that's a good mannifold but it's still going to crack one day. Cast last longer.

hard to believe, but a cast manifold will flow better than a true log manifold because of the design. Casts usually have a little bit of individual runners which have less manifold pressure that the true log.

Dyno comps AND primarily for show? That's like jumbo shrimp, or happy lesbian, or innocent transvestite! The cast iron will be much stronger than a stainless. If you do make is stainless, make sure it's like 3mm thick tube/ell's or it will crack. Then there's ceramic coating to consider. Ramhorn of course looks good, but won't hold up to real world.

..ok so flame me for this but lets explain "manifold pressure" because as of right now my logic would say that..... while an excess build up of exhaust gasses before the turbine (aka at the manny) could possibly lead to premature cracking, would it not help spool times significantly? kinda like blowing on a pinwheel by mouth or shooting the ------ thing with a leaf blower..... ... i dunno, im probably wrong so excuse me whle i slam my nuts in my car door....

oh and on an off note i do understand the concept of reducing wave turbulence and equal flow characteristics , like on ramhorn/equal length style manifolds. i probably need to stfu and save the $$$$ for a ram....right? this whole ordeal is because i dont want my z6 to be like whuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. uuuuuuu.uuuuuuuuu.uuuuu. BAHHHHH BAHHH BAHHHHH OMFG ROLFCOPTERWTF SHIFT!

See, he not comparing a cast to a ramshorn there. Of course the log generally is the lease efficient of the three, but sometimes it about the only fit. The cast is the most durable, the ramshorn most efficient and flashy, imo.

cast is good, less chance of cracking, cheaper too. but they is ugly

cast is awesome but definately doesnt compare to a ramhorm/equal length

you could ceramic coat that manifold inside and out and triple the life of it and for not allot of cash has any one on here checked out Techline coatings? they make some amazing products if you guys aren't usin this stuff for your builds you are not getting as much from your ---- as you could be. Shopping - Products by Tech Line Coatings, Inc. check it out I have a small custom shop and I use all there stuff on my builds now, and my ---- lasts longer and runs cooler and makes more power,
