rotating a tdo5

Re: rotating a tdo5
so i ended up not doing any of that. i went to take the ring off where the exhaust housing connects to the COMPRESSOR housing and the exhaust housing came right off. just 2 little 10mm nuts and it was off. kinda scary since it was so easy. im wondering how well its sealed in the first place.
secondly i put it all back on and saw that it was still off a little so i had to do it all again. and then i put the actuator on pretty much the same and didnt want the actuator shaft to hit the actuator housing so i pried a little and found that the compression housing will spin by hand w/out taking anything off.
once again kinda scary.
heres some pics.
the 2 ten mm nuts that come right off and let everything fall apart.
here you can see on the bottom right where the actuator shaft was almost hitting the housing.
the actuator should be pretty close to what it was

Those Ebay 16g's are hit and miss. I know one guy who has been running one at 20psi for almost 2 years and it's still fine. It sure doesn't hit like a real e316g though. I've personally seen 2 blow within a week and have heard of another 5 or so failing on the forums. I'd say yeah, when you get a chance to get your hands on something genuine that would be a good idea. That guy is a ****** for selling it to you as a genuine turbo.
