Default oil pressure sensor question
I am hooking up a oil pressure guage in my car, I figure that I can tap into the existing wire on the factory sensor, has anyone else done this before?

The OEM part is an oil pressure "switch." It is not a sensor.

just go to tuner toys and buy the T-block fitting so u can run ur gauge sending unit next to ur stock pressure switch.

is this the same for the coolant temp guage? i can't run it off the current coolant temp sensor?

i dont think that was his question, he was just asking the same question about the sensors but instead of oil he was talking about coolant.

yeah, i was asking whether or not i could use the factory coolant temp sensor to run a coolant temp guage
