what about fan? the wires arent switched and it's spinning the wrong way?

 

Nope, fan wiring was correct. Trust me, I've gone over everything with a fine tooth comb. The only thing that was left was the headgasket. And it seems to run just fine n/a, so it's staying that way because I don't feel like replacing it on this particular motor. :P In all honesty I'm just looking for the same power as a hype-r swap in this chassis would produce, which is something I can accomplish on a semi-built ls/vtec. I highly doubt I'm ever going to run this car at a track again, and if I do it'll be auto-x where a turbo would definately put me into a much higher class than the car can even compete in. The car has slowly become to me what miata's are to old guys. :P
