Let me ask a retarded question. Is your fan definately blowing in towards the motor when on and the blade is on the right way? I reversed mine inadvertantly on my last car and didnt check it when I installed it. The car ran crazy hot. I corrected it after the first ride out with it and it was perfect.

It was kinda close...but my fmic was pressed right up against the rad. I took the entire turbo off and just slapped a gsr mani on there for the time being. Took it for a drive and drove for around 45 minutes...no overheating. I even took it to redline in 4th, and the guage never even hit the half-way mark...just a hair below it. Granted the car was much slower than earlier today, but it was such a joy to drive. Now if I can get the topend of the rpm range to breathe a little better, then it won't be too bad. B16 auto cams blow. :P

Your headbolts are stretched...your getting head lift while in boost. That would be my appraisal. Exhaust is slipping into you water jackets/coolant passages. How much boost again?

It was at a max of 10psi for one day, then I lowered it back to 8. It did it regardless of whether it was at 10psi or 4. It's a good possability though, this is the 4th turbo setup on this particular stock b16. It's seen 17psi, and it's also seen the 300hp threshold for a brief moment, so more than likely it's getting tired.

doesn't sound like ambient heat is causing this though Minor. If it saw 17 psi I hope you have arp headstuds?!?

Nope...all stock motor...100% stock It didn't see over 17 for long and it was on a smaller t3. It probably was leaking through the hg under boost, so far all night last night i was beating on it it never overheated once.
