ya if it gets colder air then it will make more hp, just make sure it doesn’t suck up any water.. that would umm suck.

i am tempted to do a ghetto ram air on my ranger and hook the boost gauge waiting for my rex up to it b/c i doubt that it even makes one psi. according to that article you would have to be going mach .5 or 165.7 m/s or 371.2 mph

Ram air only works at a certain speeds depending on the shape, location and size of the intake. Unless your constantly driving at that speed(like formula 1 cars) it won't do ----. in fact it can actually hurt performance cause a high pressure area forms around the intake due to all the air your trying to force into it.

i dont knwo what you call fuel management... but i had 450 cc injectors with an apexi A/F controller.. and i was able to keep good fuel pressure all the time......
I had a bad blown head gasket that i drove on .... anyway....

1 psi is about what 8- 10 hp....
i have a cold air intake that makes what 2 - 5 hp...
plus the ram air is still acting like a cold air so it will be better than a non intercooled turbo set up .... the air will be colder.. which means more hp.... i know its not gonna make a HUGE difference but 8- 15 HP is good for me..

haha it doesnt do jack but help provide some air at the filter.

1psi? youd have to have the throttle plate and plenum directly exposed to the 70mph air like those domestic hotwheelers with their carbs sticking out the hood
