questions about HF/T3 setup on D16Y8...
anyone here have a HF manifold setup with a T3 (42/48 or simular) on a D16Y8 motor? we are putting together a turbo kit for my buddy with a 96-97 Civic EX, we are pulling out the AC ---- but we are going to keep the PS in there. im lookin at the turbo and kinda mocking it up on my spare A6 motor (not aure how simular the blocks are
) but it looks like on both block that the wastegate actuator is VERY close (like im 99% sure it will hit) to the PS bracket/block webbing on the motor. we are debating on what is going to be done, but i would like to hear from some people that have done a simular setup on there car. btw we are not going to run an external or a spring setup, its out of the question...

check my site below for pictures. not t3, but td04L off '02 wrx on my d16y7. i even kept my ac. mount it up without the actuator and then see if there is anyway to get it mounted...even if it's just to where the actuator arm is only parallel with it's original mounting. then use a L-bracket to attach the actuator arm to the w/g arm.
