thought i would post mine...even though its a SMIC. I was pretty happy the way it mounted up. Its about the nicest thing on my car. :P
i just welded a peice of metal to the bottom of the crossmember, then drilled a hole in it, 1 bolt, holds solid as can be. if you grab it, move it up and down, you move the car with it.


as you can see, I cut away at the inner fender well right at the top of the tire.

 

I used metal hangar strap from Ace Hardware. You can get it at any local plumbing supply place.

Y49CRXSI: what kind of wheels are those? Where did you get them? Im looking for a set of 5 star that are similar to the S2K wheels, and those look pretty close.

 

 

 

Its all straight now, these are from fab and fitting time... not final fitment. Its 2 DSM Smics welded into a FMIC.
