I just bought a brand new Ext Wg from a friend for 60 bucks.
Looks to be an ssauto product because there is nothing stamped on it at all.
Anyway its new and it was cheap.

I know most people attach it to the mani but I only want that as a last option because of my hf mani. I know its been done, a friend of mine has it. But Id like to not do that.

What Id like to know is can I make a hole in my current 5 bolt flange, delete the wg flapper and weld a pipe that leads to my Wastegate ?

Im real new to Ext Wg's, never used one.

yes you can do that, however the hole there is pretty small.

might drill a 38mm hole in the exhaust housing itself and weld the flange on there.
