read what? i dont care what some random person on the internet says (lol irony) I'm telling you that 325i/is had the 2.5 and the 325/e/es had a 2.7 stroker, when the e30 first came out there was even a 323is with a 2.3L High Compression motor. I know my BMW ----, and here is some proof (as far as wikipedia goes lol)

yeah you are right, but south africans love there bmw's so much that we got a 333i in a e30 1984-1990 333i - 3.2 L M30 I6, 197 hp (145 kW) - South Africa..

and our 325is evo2 came with

276 Alpina Cam, 324td crankshaft, Alpina Pistons, Higher CR, Bigger AFM.
