Default NOW FIXED HELP with a frustration

Solution: It was my air intake. I was using a small 4" Carb Air filter. It restrict the air so much that once the turbo was REALLY sucking it would flow enough! Back to the Good-Ol' Mesh Screen for me!!!

Problem:

When I'm driven and building boost all of a sudden the car
will bounce into vacuum. It happen usually a 5 psi but sometimes at 3 and some times at 7. It happens after it's been building for a while, say 5500-6000 rpm. If I pull back into the next gear and slam on it I get nothing. just hold rpms steading say 4500 and doesn't climb. I have to get off the gas and back on it to start accelerating into boost again. I really frustrating! I thought it could be too light of BOV setting, but nope. I just tested and played with the WG, nothing, re-built a ROM nothing? Any help? It's like a charge pipe is blowing off or something. But they are all there when I open the hood.

Sounds like the wastegate is staying open at higher RPMS, you may have big cracks in your wastegate housing leaking by the flapper. Or, you have some really wack charge pipes that are leaking.

you definitly have a leak somewhere. my car used to fluctuate between boost levels. went from 11 to 3 to 5 and back to 3. i had a leak. and i fixed that and its back to 11. then today. i was boosting all day then next thing u know i floor it and it feels sluggish. i get home. check it out. and my wastegate is just hanging there. it was internal. and i can only use one bolt and i missthreaded it. so i treaded it and now its all gravy. 15psi no check light. its odd.

Is it possible for the WG to open at 5 psi when it's set at 8 psi and stay there? How can I test it. I used an air compressor set at 10 psi and the WG opens and closes smooth on and off the car. But it is the only thing I can think of now. I have a TEO4 WG I might try making it work. Plus my WG is mounted weird on my 14b so it clears my Front Crossmember, so that could of added to the stress and worn it out.
