Default not reaching full boost

it seems like the hotter it gets here the less boost i can produce. i had a external gate(6psi spring) and mbc trying to reach 12psi. but now that the ------- heat has set in i can only get to 5-6psi tops. when temps go down at night 7-8psi tops. i ditched the mbc and got a 14.5psi spring and it still does the same thing. what could be causing this?

i am measuring boost pressure off the manifold and am pretty sure i dont' have any leaks. it seems like the hotter it gets outside the less boost is produced.

i guess i'll have to check for boost leaks since nothing else could be causing this to happen.

Make sure your guage is working right. I have an autometer sport comp 2 and it gets stuck at 5 psi sometimes. Sounds like a big boost leakthough. Make sure you have a fire ring on the wastegate.
