anyone have a sound clip of an external gate thats vented to the atmosphere instead of being plumbed back into the exhaust?

what if its vented from the turbine relief hole instead of the mani/header... you'd hear more of the turbo than the valves/engine... right?

problem i face is im currently set up with all internal gate. ill be running 18-22 lbs of boost soon, so i doubt its a good idea to continue with the internal gate. however, i dont wanna have to buy another mani, so what i was gunna do is just get the 5-hole discharge flange with the relief hole already in it and weld 1.5" piping over that to the 38mm external gate. maybe bore the relief hole out a little. but since the gate would now be a lot bigger, i dont think boost creep would be as likely... id prefer to just leave the external gate vented (prob use a blow down tube to muffle it a little) instead of plumbing back into the exhaust. but i dont wanna do that if its gunna sound like open headers or anything. i only want to do it if you really only hear the turbo spooling.
