hey I need some help pretty bad
Put on my turbo yesterday, start my car up, and the thing starts shooting out oil from both sides of the turbine. Some places say I need a new seal, but the turbo only has 12k miles on it. I also have a feeling it may be the way I have my oil line ran, but maybe not, so here's what I got

TD04L from a 2002 WRX, Oil feed comes from oil pressure sending unit, gives more than enough friggen oil, oil return goes straight to the valve cover, I'm thinking that maybe there's not enough pressure in the line to push the oil in the bottom of the turbo than back up through it to the valve cover, so it's causing extra pressure and releasing through the seal or something. I don't know enough about turbo's yet to take this thing apart, but if anyone had some generic diagrams they'd help a lot, cuz running an open turbo manifold is loud as hell

heh, well mike thats your problem.. oil returns are gravity fed only, and HAVE to go to the oil pan. Look through our turbo projects and you will see lots of pictures, be sure to use a larger size hose too.
