My VW friends think it is really hard to turbo VR's because of the way the intake manifold and head are shaped. That's why kits for those cars are like 10K and up. Good luck.

my friend and I were going to turbo his vr6, it cost quite a bit more than turboing a honda. so he sold most of the turbo parts and he handed the loan for the vr6 over to his mom and then just bought a '89 crx si

I dont know why but I get the feeling you have a little hostility towards women .every time someone posts about doing something to their girls car your allways pretty negative.

Id hate to see how you treat you old lady.
you just love conflicts and calling people out d16. i for one would never do anything hi performance to a girls car. she'll only ---- it up, or get car jacked. that's just how i feel and i don't expect anyone to feel the same.
Im not calling you out.Im just stating what I have observed from you.Thats all.Your entitled to your opinion and Im entitled to mine.

Im not familiar with the VR6 but after working at Audi for awhile they have enough problems w/o added headaches. Im sure its been done many times over and you should look on http://forums.vwvortex.com/ for reliable info since this is predominatly honda stuff. I also noticed VW performance stuff is pretty expensive so if someone even made a kit expect to shell out some good money.
