The VR6 normally isn't the ones to worry about, the 1.8T is the ones that are normally faster, not to say that there are no VR6s, but the 1.8T is faster when chipped.

The 1.8T GTi runs 15.3 from the factroy and chipped one ( APR ) prob. runs in the 14's...

The only experience I've got is with a MkIII VR6 Gti on the road race course. I actually caught up to him and passed him in my N/A STD civic, w/ MPFI swap, I/H/E and such, but seriously, I've got max 100hp with all I've done, and I passed the ******. vr6s are sweet, but really not all that fast. To be beat'n in a turbo civic, something had to be done to the vr6, or you have some driving skills to work on.

Are we talking about volkswagens? Was it a girl driving? Isn't it illegal for a dude to drive one of those? (ok, I'm done)

16.9@88mph !!! How the hell did that happen !!! Its not that the time is so slow, (even though it is ) but the mph with the time...I ran 89mph@15.1, how'd it take you 2 seconds longer at appox. the same power level ? ( just curious ).
