Ok, sorry this is not a honda question, but i know that there are some VW guys on here. I have been on this site now for about 9 years now.... wow. Probably when Jeff started his turbo craze. Used to work with the guy. Anyways, can anybody help with the vr6 motor? Im looking at buying a gti vr6 with 85000 miles on it. Its an 01. I test drove it last night, and loved it, but there is one concern. In 2nd and 3rd gear there is clicking noise (very faint, sounds like a card in a bike tire kinda noise) Any idea on what this is? I know this is not a whole lot of info, but any advice would be great.

---- that ---- on a stick with sauce. don't buy it... that cam chain is going to let go. don't know what book time it is at the dealer, but it goes well over a grand.

not that i could hear, and mainly in the low rpm's. Its very very faint, hardly noticeable.
