Do you have a returnless fuel system? (I ask because you have a boost a pump)

if i can remember correctly, i believe it is a return-less system..

ive done more than a few boost-a-pumps on customers cars.. typically with blowers on them.

W0rd, Jack Rousch edition style. Always pimp. Looks like it's probably going to move pretty quick and like Pete said, pretty crazy doing this on an '06. Surprise Johnny isn't in this thread 'admiring' the work...

The KB Boost-A-Pumps just provide a constant voltage to the fuel pump(s) in boost. They can provide up to 17V of constant voltage to the pump in boost. They are simply a boost activated amplifier. There is a boost switch.

The 05+ mustangs use a returnless fuel system like previous mustangs and use a PWM fuel controller and fuel rail pressure sensor to provide a constant 39psi of pressure across the injectors. The BAP just gives the pumps more output.

The SCT tuner can reflash the stock ECUs.

The tuner is not fully prgrammable by itself. The actual tuning software is not typically available to individuals, only authorized tuners/dealers which are mostly shops. SCT is really picky about that kind of thing and the Dealer tuning software is not cheap by any means. Think thousands.

We have the software at the shop I work at as we are a dealer/tuner. It's fully programmable and datalogs as well. Not the nicest software to work with, but pretty good.

Who are you getting it tuned by in SoCal? What's the name of your shop?
