anyways you said you have some wastgate issues, I think you should get a tial wastegate, seems to be the best gate on the market.

but again 440rwhp? come on. I have half the cylinders, half the displacement, 3/4 the turbo, 1/4 the potential, but my goal is 500whp. if I have a mustang my goal would be 800whp, and be rocking 2 sc61 turbos. with dual 4" turbobacks
wont a safc or something of that sort work on a mustang?
LOLZ SAFC. they reflash the pcm. besides stock connecting rods dont take much more then 450whp reliably on the new 3v's. not as bad as the old 2v's though. but.

I would go to coastal dyno if you anywhere in the south east. build some of the fastest mod motor cars i have scene a couple KB 3v's comming out of there with well over 500whp.

I'm in the process of building another bottom end, so I can up the boost on this stock one and blow it up like a champ!!!

see what it can do with 15psi, on stock internals.

new motor, will be running 20psi!

of course, LSx motors are the only motors worth doing anything to because they are far superior to everything else. corvettes aren't even that nice, F bodies look better anyways . ----, most normal people would do a double take if they saw a firehawk and they wouldn't even care if a corvette went by because they are everywhere.

don't even talk about mustangs, they are all "piles of ----"

rofl.

typical F body owner.

nice stang, get some nicer vids up already!!!

Don't be stupid, blowing up you motor will take out the block and heads, one if you're lucky.

At 15psi, that motor WILL blow on that turbo. The stock rods WILL NOT support more than 500 wheel, trust me on this. They are weak *** powdered metal rods.

Well I was at The Hat (drive through) and I became a smoke show..

so I said WHAT THE ----!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was going to go to irwindale, but I said nevermind and decided to take the turbo out...

the turbo was leaking oil into the hot side, and the cold side.

i decided that was it and took off all the turbo piping and ---- out to clean the oil off..

the devil is under surgery, i hope my boys at comp turbo replace my turbo!!!

thanks to wiser, for letting me borrow the KB gt!

to be continued..

oh yeah, i bought a wastegate.

tial, 38mm.

DAMN!!!! that sucks!!! were you running any kind of oil restriction? remember 5-10 at idle and 25psi at WOT

Ohh and to your original question about the return line being a heater hose... NO.. you wanna use Trans line.
