Actually it is a little more complex than that, and no, you could not build one.


They provide a constant voltage to the pump, requardless of battery voltage or anything else.

i think its sick that my project is on the front page.. i finally feel the love.

and the boost-a-pump is a little more complex.. i had to swap out a few fuses and stuff

---- is clean and tight. Looks like you have a more room under the hood than I originally thought, almost looks like it is a factory install.

Yah, it acctualy can't be all that hard,

It's like an Amp, (well a good amp) That maintains at least 13.8 V to the rail. With a vac/boost controlled varible solinoied, to supply +- 6 Volts, Can't be all that hard.



Sweet setup !! Can't belive yah got the ***** to do it to a new car,

Something to keep in mind, OBD2 setups take snap shots of the motor if the CEL light comes on, and it'll say that it's reading X vac/psi at the intake, The dealer will know.

lol... you should take it to the dealer for an oil change... I'd like to see the looks on their faces when they see what you've done to the GT.
