Not going very well yet I have an oil leak at my cyl head/timing cover - working on it tomorrow.

You know your builds baller when you got aeroquip and braided stainless hose hooking up your blow off valve.

that's so ------- sexy.

just had a thought though...
How do you have the intercooler mounted?
I ask because those charge pipe clamps look completely ridgid.
Any engine is going to twist in the engine bay, but especially one that's making the power your aiming for.

That would cause a lot of stress on some of those parts like the plastic manifold.


IDK, maybe I'm missing something, but I thought I'd throw that out there.

They will hold because they are the most baller of ballerest clamps ever. Wiggens clamps are actually flexible and will pretty much never let go. For $250 each, the better not let go at least.

Just got these -



Got my specialty tools to remove the crank bolt while on the car - pulled the timing cover and will mill it flat on sunday and then put the head back on (again).

Sigh.

Progress, though!
