major dsm question!!!!!!!!1
ok, if this is the wrong forum i apologize i wasnt sure cuz its not a honda, ok here goes
my buddy has a GS 2nd gen eclipse
my other buddy has a 1st gen laser turbo that he blew the head gasket on and is parting it out
what will i need to pull off the laser to turbo the eclipse
i realize the throttle bodies are on opposite side in the GS but i can make some charge puipes for it.
can i just bolt all the turbo components from the 1st gen laser to the 2nd gen eclipse or will i need the injectors and ecu and stuff
we have an entire motor to play with, so finding parts is not a problem, i just need to no what needs to be added to the gs motor to make it turbo (just turbo components, or injectors and ecu or what)

try a DSM specific website, no seriously, you'll probably get a better response there EVEN THOUGH THIS IS NOT A HONDA ONLY WEBSITE. But, 90% of the users here have Hondas, probably only about 15% actually have turbo Hondas.

your gonna need alot of ---- done. nothign will just swap over, if so, every dsm NT would be turbo'd by now. as far as i know the manifold doesnt match up. you need a hahn turbo kit or something of the sort.
you can use the turbo, and injectors. use an AFC.
a turbo ECU on a NT car will not work. pointless, get that thought out of your head
go to the link above and read and read BEFORE YOU POST. if not, you'll get chewed out.

its not that hard to turbo those cars, just like a honda or any other NT car. an easy way to see what you need is to go to the hahn racecraft site and look at their cars/ staged upgrades....but dont buy anything from them
