ok this is my problem. i have had the afc hack in my car for about a month and everything has been fine. i went to start my car yesterday and all of a sudden it starts but then bogs out and dies. then i finally get it to start and its about to die again so i hurry to the low settings and start leaning it out. i notice the closer i get to 0% the better it idles and it doesnt want to die anymore. but that doesnt make sense? i notice with the settings i had before for idle (-45%) i think its running lean. i never had any problems what so ever with my afc hack and settings and now it wont idle until i get to at least -15% but it still does a little pop every now and then. and also if i hit the gas it will just bog out!?!? i'm really thinking its the stock fuel pump just giving up on me? sound right? maybe its just time to replace to a 255lph walbro. but do you guys think that is the problem? i mean i never had problems with where my setting were at and it ran like a stock turbo car. the only thing i can think of is the fuel pump is gone bad. i replaced the fuel filter a couple days ago and it ran fine until now. please give me your opinions of what you think it is. the car doesnt smoke or anything...i know the motor is still good. i really think its the fuel pump. argh help!!!!

ok, well i cant even drive the car....i towed it to the shop and i'm gonna have them install my walbro 255. i knew i needed a fuel pump with my hack and it was gonna be the next thing i got but i guess i'm gonna get it sooner than expected actually i kinda hope its the fuel pump anyways cuz i was just looking for a good excuse to swap in the walbro. i'm gonna order my walbro right now!

you dont need a new fuel pump with the hack. ive seen stats saying the stock pumps can take over 300hp. whazt year car is this, im not sure if some are different

well its a 91 crx si and i know you can use the hack on the stock fuel pump and it worked well for awhile but i think after 166 thousand miles, the stockie just gave up to the pressures. time to get a walbro

no, it will start up then bog out and die. if it starts fine and i tap the gas its bogs out..!?

the only way i can get it to idle is to set the idle at like 0% but even then, if i tap the gas it bogs and wants to die or does die.
