beucase the guage is probly not reading much psi
becuase its the bottom of the T?

i'm pretty sure that the oil pressure light is supposed to come on with >5psi...
its probably your gauge..replace that first, if its still reading wrong. then look farther into it...its easier to replace the gauge then checking the main and rod bearings..which if the motor is still running decent, i highly doubt it owuld be those

mine did that on my stock z6 when i put the turbo on... Never figured out why untill it blew the headgasket and i decided to build the motor Bearings were in good shape though, my gauge would go down to 0 but the light wouldnt come on. It would eventually when it burned all the oil in the pan though, poor little d16
