No, it wasn't a factory 22RTE (turbo) model.
The turbo 4runners only came in automatic and we all know how geigh that is...
One of the strange "turbo only" options was a groovy 7 segment type instrument panel. Like the 280ZX's of the same era... Think knight rider.
The red interior is pretty bad, but it's in almost perfect shape. It's going to stay for a while.

Clean runner man. I thought of running a turbo on my 84 pickup but decided against it, water + hot turbo = bad mojo. And all I had was the stock CT20. If you want some new interior pieces, I have pretty much a toyota grave yard at my house and have a couple interiors in great shape, grey, black, and I think tan as well.
