do you still have all the interior in case you want to put it back? And was there any sound deadening that you had to scrape away? I mean not my cup of tea personally, but if you at least have the stuff you can just throw it back in if you get sick of it, so just keep it however you like it best. Next question, why only 180 whp? you could run 190 with the full interior and run the same times, or go up a little over 200. 210 to the wheels on a d16y block is not unheard of. Anyways, I vote that you up the power to 200-220 since your stripped why not make it move faster than other stock block cars. I have a 97 coupe, with a stock block, and if your running 180whp chances are very good that I will still pull on you a little with full interior. (of course the y8 trans helps too). Have fun with it and get that sucker boosting!

so is it back from teh shop yet dude.. if you can afford to take your car somwere to change a head gasket and t belt and a oil leak noob stuff like that come on you gota get more power in there if you ever decide to go obd1 and crome youll need to get a different intake manifold y8 or z6 wiht 2 wire iacv cuz the 3wire you got on there wont work or if its just liek a drag car anyway you can just unhook it and run it like a carburator open up the screw on TB to get it idling or make some holes in the vac lines.. and UP THE BOOST!! tahts alot of money vafc and a BTM crome is ceahper wiht obd1 conversion

Exactly what I am doing. I want to wait about a year, learn how to race at the stip better, and just all around gain more knowledge, then I plan to build the motor and convert to crome.

Just got her back today, theres a problem though, the tuner says that he thinks my spring in my wg or the waste gate actuator is not functioning properly causing the tuner to not be able to go above 7 psi. It will boost to 7 psi but then fall back down to 5 psi. At first thought I figured it was a boost leak, or inaccurate boost gauge. Hes confident that its the wg. So what do you guys think. Other than that she moves like a raped ape and it doesnt killl my gas mileage. Thanks guys for all the help. First HMT setup down.

i smoke my frinds o3 gt stick shift wiht only 33k miles all the time when we raced and my set up was d16y7 NON VTACK!!! style 10 psi + y8 tranny (eX)

and your wg spikes 7-5 dont worry about it it will be ok.. just raise it up!! wiht a ball spring boost controller HMT one tehre is a write up for this ---- or go buy one you lazy *** cant even change your own head gasket and ----!!
well yess its true you are a i think if you own a turbo honda and cant work on it by your self what if that ---- just stops working taking it to the shop can be way too expensive
and annoying thats why i bought my own tunner ---- and tune my own ---- all the time its just so FUN!!
good luk wiht yo ---- tune your afc to less fuel so it runs a little leaner 10's are pig rich you be fine wiht 12.0's with how little boost your running my ---- was in 12.0 leaneset at 10 psi and was fine...
