Other than that she moves like a raped ape and it doesnt killl my gas mileage. Thanks guys for all the help. First HMT setup down.

hahahahaha.. your wastegate spring is not function properly? I guess the spring is malfunctioning..

"It will hold spike to 7 psi but then back down to 5 ps" <-that is not a spike, that's a leak; look up the definition for spike before you use it in a sentence again.

come on man, honestly, you shouldn't be boosting your car. go NA for awhile, learn some mechanics/EFI theory and then step up to a forced induction.
apparently you don't know what the ---- is going on.

Ill admit this is my frist HMT setup. Im 18 and about to go to college. I built my setup as much as I possibly could and as much as I trusted myself doing. The shop that I got my work done by is extremely credible and specializes in hondas. I paid $1372 for a new hg, water pump, timing belt, oil pan leak fix, extra parts, afc tune, compression test, had a cat built in, arp head studs, they replaced my injector clips, and spark plugs for their own preference, they fixed my btm wiring job, fixed other ignition issues, and they threw on a BOOST CONTROLLER!

My BTM has no advancement, its at 0, serving no purpose.

I look at it two ways, in this area people pay 5 to 6 grand to to get their car completely, "doped out," I built mine trying to learn as much as possible before I did it, and I gave it over to a pro for the stuff I truely didnt want to ---- up. Love it or hate it, I still spent less on my build than someone would spend just buying a damn greddy kit.

Also, I asked the tuner it might be a leak. He says it would have to be fairly large making it unlikely.

The tuner said he didnt want to have the afr around 10-11 cause it was alittle more rich he had liked, but it seemed there was nothing he could do, he said the car would be fine, and asked if I had a fuel pump, which I didnt.

then your friend cant drive because a non vtec D series on 10psi isnt going better then low 14's which is where a stock mustang sits. and its definatley not touching a stock 98+ camaro.

---- you this dude did what other noobs cant which is dive in and try. If you expect someone to NEVER try boosting until they are certified experts then guess what there would be alot less boosted cars on teh road.

+1 for doing it yourself and learning. gives you more experenice that some dipshit behind a keyboard who thinks you will read more and all of a sudden know what you are doing. Hope you get your wastegate sprin ---- figure out homei but next time change that ---- our yourself rather than take it to a shop. if you boosted it you can swap out parts no problem. i just rebuil;d my d with no engine experience at all. ****** runs like a top, honduhs are like legos dude. any 6 year old can put one together. You'll get it.
