depends on the condition of the original mounts

As soon as I get some time I'm gonna take another crack at it. I'll either use the coat hanger method or cut the actuator arm in half and put a threaded rod in between so I can adjust it to the correct length and not have to worry about it. Are you just supposed to use a regular dye to make the threads in the actuator arm? How do I find what size dye to use if so?

Just take some of the rod with you. Go to farm and fleet on HWY 51. They have them for around $2. They will also have the threaded rod you need.

You mean the dye costs $2? I'll have to get up early tomorrow and check that ---- out.

Yeah it was like two bucks but you need a little die holder thingy. The die itself is like the size of a quarter. I think the holder tool was like $8 but if you want you can stop by and borrow mine.

No, listen to the man he is right, put that bracket back on or your motors gonna fall and your gonna ---- up the timing belt and maybe ---- up the motor. We took that bracket off my friends motor and within a week the motor mount boke. PUT IT BACK ON RUDEBOY!!!!

How come so many people have removed it and mentioned no problems?

*bump* Need more input on the a/c bracket. Have you removed it with no problems, do you absolutely recommend I put it back on, etc. Any input you offer would help me out.

I have a B18 in my EK and i dont have either of those lower mounts. I just have the two upper mounts and the one rear mount. I have never had a problem but i dont know if your mounts are set up the same.
