The motor mount bolts to the block behind the timing cover. Pull that damn bracket off. ;)

Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it. One more question: do I just use a regular dye to thread the actuator arm on the wastegate to I can put a threaded rod in the middle?

I would hook them with with some thick wires.

Ok, how the hell do you do attach the wires to the actuator rod?

do not take your ac compressor bracket off! It what attaches one of your lower torque mounts to the motor. If you remove it the engine will move all over the place. I know from personal experience. A couple of years ago when i removed my ac i tried leaving that same bracket out and my car felt like ----. My engine moved so much that the valvecover hit the hood and dented it! Don't remove it.

Also I had the same problem with my wastegate actuator. I couldn't ever get it to work right so I said ---- it and welded an external wastegate flange onto my hf manifold and plopped a nice tial 38mm on there ;).

you wrap the wire around it and twist the wire, the nipple will keep it from coming off.
but thats if ur not going to adjust the boost.

Well ----, I already took it off. Hopefully the rest of my mounts are up to the task.

Trust me they aren't. Don't drive the car like this. When i did it my car felt like poo because the motor was rocking so much. There is a reason that mount is there.
