Check the clearance to the strut tower, I know you sometimes have to beat it in when installing the supercharger to clear the pulley. they are really close. And let the guy know that you use a SMALLER pulley to increase boost or re-install the factory crank pulley ( cause its larger ). The jrsc eaton blowers run out at about 11-12 psi.

I was just at a website that made custom pulleys for SC kits, but the only honda they have listed is the newer SI. http://www.pulleyboys.com/civicsi.html give them a call, since I think they make custom pulleys too.
Other than a wider belt, its the 4 things listed b4. Tension, alignment, bearing, or interference.

tell him to rip it off, it probably makes more power without that POS power sapping restriction on it. Also, he probably crimped the FPR hose shut when he mounted his FMU for max performance... he did buy a supercharger for his honda after all.

he actually bought it already done about 2 weeks ago. It was weird having a nice even power band pull instead of guttless..guttless..tirespin. Course I've never ridden in a stock gsr to compare.
He has a 94 teg he said he wants to turbo. I'm gonna try and get him on the right track with 450's and crome. We'll see. I still have yet to make it back to check out the car and talk to him.

Is this nick's car, not nick as in the life failure who sold us our cars but the nick that I went to hs with nick? If so and you can talk him away from the ricey side of life that'd be sweet, since he's always been semi ricer and it'd be great to have another turbo honduh running around. Also check your pm's

all of the above,
plus make sure the crank+sc pulleys are clean. The previous belt-meltdown may have left some rubbery stuff on the pulleys and the new belts may be slipping because of that.
You can also spray the belt with a grip enhancer, though that's a minor help and not a solution
