man its never even came close to popping out. I'm running 10psi, but i have ran 15psi through it. Its in there so tight that i have to use excessive force just to get it out.

have you ever logged your iat's? How do they look?

drill a hole in the charge pipe and use a grommet to secure it. Mine is in there tight as ---- and has never popped out. As long as the hole is small enough it will be in there tight. Don't be ghetto and ziptie it somewhere. At least place it somewhere that it is reading the intake temps. When you do get it working you'll have to let me know what your iat's read in datalogging because for some reason mine reads abnormally cool temps sometimes down to 50 degrees, but when i datalog on other cars with my same ecu it reads normal.
Ok, I think you would get a more accurate reading by having it before the turbo, but I am not concerned as much about that as I am with the other hose, what did you do with the other hose? I am pretty sure it is a hose that leads to the air idle assist valve, did you just leave that unhooked?
I don't see how it would be more accurate before the turbo because the air gets hotter going through the turbo and thats whats actually going into your intake. I would think that this should theoretically be a better reading for logs, but i think its weird that mine reads so low. Another guy i talk to who has a y8 in a crx sais he has the same problem as me.

Also as far as that hose i think your talking about the PCV hose. Don't leave that still plugged into your intake if you are boosted.

No I haven't. I can log it via Uberdata correct? If I can, I'll go read it one day to see if the numbers are off or not.

hey that grommet idea is cool. i just wound up drilling a hole in my intake pipe right where the stock one would go (after my turbo) and used a lil jb weld to hold the sensor in there. i was careful to make sure no jb go on the end of the sensor itself
