******* the ---- out of that bitch means Running your car extremely hard! yea you got to change the harness and stuff depending on what car its in, and the ecu has to change to.
Definetly the head can be cracked, will cause your motor to run like ----, you need to bleed the coolant system on hondas there is a bleed valve, on the top radiator hose by the block. open it up using a 12 mm wrench until fluid comes out.

i have eg8 sedan with d16z6 in it. i thought that i can trow in b16a2 engine with tranny. cos i have already chipped ecu. or b16a2 has diffrent wireharness then d16z6?
(i mean b16a2 from civic 92-95)
crx88si: after i setup new ring in d16a6 block i ran about 1k miles with semi-syntetic oil. after that i swithched to a 5w40 synt. but 3 days beforo i crack something in my engine i got water in engine. but it run after that good. but may be that was a reason? may be i bent a little rod when waater got in cylinders and when i tuned it it bended heavely... i didnt opened so far my engine. by the way is d16a6 rods are same as d16z6? cos i have 3 piston+rods combo from my old engine =) and if someone can explain how to connect and disconect rods and pistons without press it will be very good =)

sorry for my lack of common english.. typically everyone here understands the slang but the fact that you're not living in north america slipped my mind
anyways, the use of part and full synthetic was used way ahead of time, I've heard people allowing up to a 20k mile break in before they bring synthetic into play. Everyone who I've heard of running synthetic too soon smokes their motors since the seals haven't had a chance to wear into place. Change your oil back to natural oil, even consider a thicker grade like 10w40 to help the situation out.

I dont see a problem with running semi synthetic oil on a new engine, all new nissans are built with 5-30 castrol synthetic blend, I use it in all my new motors as well.
Bad main bearings are an odd problem, Do you have pics? Are you sure it wasnt your rod bearings?

I think newer factory built motors are a bit different then at home user built motors.. I don't have the honda engine building experience to tell you specifically one way or the other but with common older motors (slat 4's, v8s, v6s) the introduction of synthetics from a fresh build is a bad idea.
What oil are the OEM nissans riding with? Looks like I'm going to have to get my thread game on and do a synthetics thread to explain the differences of the various brands.

when i will open it i will know for shure =) but i think that engine broken because of water in cylinders. =(
