I have a t25 running 8-9 psi, right now My car is retarded 9* at the distributer, is that too much or not enough, or just right?

 

i have mine retarded 6 degrees by a tunning shop. also get colder plugs ngk 4091 on b16 gapped to .0028.

 

yeah colder plugs can definately help. As for knowing exaxtly how much to retard timing, definately hit a tuning shop with a dyno just like robs99si did. Every engine and setup will require different amounts of timing adjustments and fuel adjustments. So, the only true way to get it set where it "should" be and where it makes it's most power would be to hit the dyno
