AFC Timing Retard

Doing and AFC install for a guy, What do you retard base timing by? 2deg or so?

No, you have to recurve the entire ignition map. You are asking for a linear solution for a non-linear problem.

If you don't give a ----, tell the kid it isn't safe, retard the dizzy 3 degrees, and let him blow his ---- up with a clear conscience.

take out 10 degrees

or if you cant seriously set base timing back 8 degrees

You using it to run larger injectors? Or just add fuel?
Whats this person's setup?

Need more info, but reguardless the AFC is a bad solution.

Well the guy is gone and driving and 2.5hr away now. I told him to get an ECU but apparet;y they couldn't get it and the harness in time. Meanwhile I put off their install for about 2 months?
