"sigh"...

its an abortion of a turbo...

dumass me bought a xs power turbo ... t3/to4e. It was like...$180 shipped.

Ordering a rebuild kit with seals for it. Already broke it down, made my marks, and rebuilt the thing once...just to make sure : p

added some antiseize to ALL the bolts, and torqued them with a torque wrench.
even used Gasket sealer to set my oil drain flange.

trying to take all the measures to make my life easier when this turbo breaks on me.

anyone know if i should use the OEM replacements for the spark plugs?

http://www.ngk.com/results_app.asp?AAIA=1355543

i think the oem replacements from NGK are the V-power ones. Maybe copper core?

I guess i will give the platinum auto poop plugs to my brother. He only cares about car audio...not speed.

any suggestions on good plugs to use for my power goals?

Also, anyone know the appropriate injectors for my year model? peak and hold / saturated? low / hi impedance?

Or just stick with some dsm 450 blue tops?

thanks all

you wont need 2 steps colder. Neither will you ever have a use for autolights in a honda No one knows that certain plugs are for certain cars.. autolight= ford acdelco= gm ngk= honda etc...

thanks for the heads up guys.

After some good research, i found out how to read the numbers on them ngk's. Then i started cross referencing it to other brands, and looks like everyone has their version of the "6" level heat rating...one step "colder" than my "5" rating.

this is pretty cool...now, to see if i can bum a spark plug gap measuring tool.

i read somewhere that you are not supposed to teflon any of the oil connections to the center housing...

Is this true? Is it too hot for the tef wrap and will it cause damage?

So what do i do? Just turn it harder? Or use loctite? Or is loctite out of temp range too??!

And for my injectors...

RC Injectors? Or will blue top dsm 450's suffice? I would rather save money so...anyone with a 6th gen or 6th gen experience have a recommendation?

word.
