i love d-series blocks because they are a dime a dozen, and cheap....---- building the motor, u will spend less money in the short run boostin a d, but it will eventually let loose....just my 2 pennies.....

jesus, ghetto. how many times have i said (directly to you too) that the 14b is just temp. its coming out through the winter when i have the $$ to build the motor to TAKE the boost. ---- i hate people who dont listen

and yeh, the d series wont take too much abuse. i can get 400 from it, but eventually (not to long) it'll blow up, so whatever. thats when its time to upgrade. i just wanna get my hands dirty.... that's the only reason i'm starting where i'm startiong, just to get my hands dirty and learn.... who cares if i brake a motor or two.

i think he's saying the 14b won't do 16psi. i don't think it will either, at least not efficiently.

hmm, okay, seems i just took your "tone" the wrong way, sorry.

i've got the tuning out of the way, theres a really good guy here in town that everyone is recommending to me, so i'm going to have him tune/dyno the car when i need that all done.

i guess the only thing to do now then is just build and build and build. just keep pushing towards my goal, see where that gets me. I'll very quickly learn that 400 is out of my reach -- so be it. i'll figure that out myself

thanks for the input everyone!

first do your research and get the turbo on your car first before you start making high psi high hp goals.

gotta have a goal to get to -- as long as you have patience and the time to get to that goal, and to make everything work, it'll be fine. just gotta take my time and fix things as they come along.

it'll work!
