.42/.48 is wayyy too small for a b16. Absolutely needs a t3/t4 with a .63 exh housing.

But your rex is hot

a few people have said that

but it spools at 3k and keeps pulling all the way to 8k

the tuner was urprised with it and im happy.... at the moment anyway lol

it may pull to 8k, but certainly not like it should. WHEN you put a bigger turbo on that fucker, you'll see what your missing. That turbo is too small for a y7

Yeah, you absolutely need a turbo capible of 400+ whp for 15" street tires. :1 I've seen many 400whp street civics - even with preped suspensions, they always have traction probs into 3rd and usually 4th too.

At the most, I'd suggest a T3 60 trim, .63ar stg3 exhaust. It will spool up a bit slower, but pull harder to redline. But not overkill like a t3/t04e at only 10psi like everyone and their mom is doing on b16s currently. People always brag about how much they got on their t3/t04 at 'just' 10psi, when a $15 2.5bar sensor upgrade and 18psi with your current snail will give you enough air for 250whp. FYI one of the first cars I tuned was a gen1 SiR b16a motor w/uberdata, ssauto mani, and a 60 trim T3, ended up doing 250whp at 9psi. With 17psi on that one, you'd be spinning wheels like mad, yet still get a great spool time. Best of all, they're easy to 'control' with throttle to keep from breaking loose all the time in lower gears.

make sure your blue smoke is coming from the engine and not the turbo before you decide to rebuild it.

Do a quick check for oil in your intake.

If you were tuned I'd say its most likely your turbo took a dump. It could be leaking oil past the seals.

Are you using a restrictor in your oil feed?

I like how that intercooler is not centered, and is more towards the passenger side... Gangsterrr!! :6
