Ive had 2 full xs power kits and have yet to have a problem.. manifolds can be rewelded to hold, wastgate springs suck, havnt had a problem with there turbos, intercoolers did seem to head up fast on the dyno, bov dont sound the best but work, piping is nice looking but does need triming, oil lines do there job ect.. hmmm for the price they seem like a good buy maybe im just that much of a cheap ***.

Note Jeff Frank's amount of time spent on this site lately noob. There's a good reason for it. Also, I don't own a ghetto-fied junktastic Honda anymore. When I owned my old hatchback I built everything for it, tuned everything on it, did all my own work. I've put my time in on this site and have helped out more people locally and country-wide, and I've seen what works and what doesn't from personal experience, not what some random idiot posts on the web. I've been in the boost game for 10 years, probably right around the time you as a little kid started fingering your *** while drooling over stupid-street magazine.
Would you in all honesty want to use parts that are known to be junk? For your $100 piece of ---- maybe you would, but get real...would you put this crap on a $32,000 car? I think not. And if you had been around when Jeff Frank did his SSAC testing like I was you would see even he said it was junk. I highly suggest you shut up and learn for while before you open your mouth and prove you're an idiot.

It all boils down to you get what you pay for. For one, it's all outsourced to China. There is no R&D work done on these parts, they just blatantly copy other people's work with inferior materials and pass them off as just as good. I'm sorry if I'm coming off as some "holier than thou" type of dude, but I've had too many dealings with these shady parts to hold them in high standards like many others do. Some of their things do work fine for the budget minded guy who just wants a little taste of boost, but for long term power production and reliability I don't recommend anything from them. During the spring/summer/fall months I'll usually get at least 50-75 calls a month from people running these kits and wondering why they're having problems.

I'm on my 2nd SSAC manifold. My first one, i welded it as soon as i got it at the collector where it meets the flange, and i never had any issues with it. I just bought another one from them for $108. This one looks much better than the first, but even if the welds were shitty, i can't buy the tubing and flanges for what i paid for the manifold complete. As for other parts, i would never use a turbo or wastegate from them, but a BOV, or charge pipes, or an intercooler i would think should be fine. Obviously if you are looking for high power, or consistant reliability on a daily driver, CDM parts are not the way to go. But if you've got a project car that you want to make a little faster, and you are broke, SSAC ---- is the way to go.

How so? Bone never replied back to me about the cam profiles anyway. Go ahead and build your shitty chinese turbo kits, but don't cry to me when they break. Let's hear your ever so wise opinion on this junk, since obviously you've just proven to be much more knowledgeable in this subject than me. Go ahead...name one chinese part that's better than the original piece it copied...go ahead, I dare you.

slo_crx i understand what your saying if i had a 30k car i wouldnt use this stuff cause having a car like that means i can afford nice parts.. but most of us just have normal 0-8k cars that we play with and mod on low funds.. If i had a full race car would i use most of it NO but i was just asking for the averge guy if they run/like xs power stuff.
