The purple radiator hoses didn't cost any less than black ones, and you're not fooling me.

Contact RS Akimoto or whatever they're called now, and ask them how much they sold their overstocked purple radiator hoses for? I bought them two years ago, and at the time their advertised price for the purple discontinued stock was ~30$ cheaper. I wish I could find the box w/ teh receipt but it makes no difference to me. Once again you are flaming me because I spent too much money on my car.

Re: DailyDriven's DIY Inturdgra
Well, all bad comments aside, lets take a look at my first days when I guess I was less of a ricer. This is my first HMT in 2001, I wish I had more pics, but I'm trying to use archives to find these.
I welded it all myself with a harbor frieght welder, cut the pipes with a hacksaw, and in order to make sure the welds were sealed, I bought a tube of marine sealant and ran it over teh welds, and looked for bubbles after I ran it hard. and ran the hack, and pulled 2 or so degrees from the dizzy and ran 7series plugs.
It was 10 times cleaner back in those days, but obviously before the wreck. On 7psi on the 57trim the car went 13.70's at 111mph on kumho ecsta supra's.
Back in those days I actually cared about the way the car looked. I ran that setup for about a year and a half until I became broke, and sold everything like a bitch.
Maintaining the brokeness-- I eventually made ANOTHER HMT. In 2004 I was extremely broke but had some parts laying around, t25, egay intercooler (that leaked like a bitch), made my own turbomanifold, ran hondata this time, and made the "joke" setup with the t25. Fortunately the t25 setup on 14psi (street tuned) not only hung with, but murdered A LOT of cars with a lot more in it. Pulled hard on all the big turbo boys running 8-10psi. Which ran a 13.78 on only 9psi. It was ridiculous. Here are the pics:
Unfortunately, after a couple days of murdering this setup-- I was involved in a wreck that took almost the whole front end off, but it was only body panels. Drove this setup with teh wrecked front end for about 6months, until the motor spun a bearing-- and I guess it was time to over haul the car. Took the plunge, stripped the whole car to the bare shell-- and started spraying, tucking, built fresh motor, with the emphasis on "Function> Fashion, and have the raceboy/ricer look" as a joke, and then here we are. I was planning on not driving the car for the winter, but unfortunately once again, cash constraints didn't allow me to get another car, and had to give back the one I was borrowing. So there is no reason to put the pressure on turbocharging the car, when it will have around 600whp when its all said and done.
So I guess, the reason why I posted all this history on myself-- is that for all you douchebags whining about my selection of parts and going on thinking I'm a ricer-- I've been in this game for wayyyyyyyy too long to let little ***** that can weld think you have the ability to belittle me. To those that pm'd me about staying on the site, I appreciate it. To those that are hating-- thats fine. My car's performance should show you otherwise.
Also, will you hate when I say that my good friend Dave Blundell (Blundar) will be tuning my car this spring and should have saved the money and ran another program?

1000cc injectors for 180whp lol siqqqq. If you didn't care about looks you wouldn't have spray painted your car baby ---- green and installed all the gay add ons where oem or non-ricey other means would have sufficed. A proper car doesn't have ------- gardening plastic on it. I did appreciate the part where you admitted your car was a hacked pile of garbage or something along those lines. It's in quotes up in some of your earlier replies.
It's cool though man, everyone goes through that gay Honda Boi JDM baller faze. The only thing that stuck out about you was that you went from less ricey to more ricey instead of what most people do which is the opposite of that. Even If your car was the badass "murdering" and "street tuned" machine you're claiming it was (awww ---- 13.7 is fasssst yo!) it's not anymore and is in desperate need of sorting out. Have your guru *** tooning butty fix the mess for you.
