I had a friend who purchased a supercharger for his y8 motor.. I really can't remember which one it was but I wasn't impressed. He was running stock exhaust with it and an MSD unit. The results were pathetic and not worth all the damn money he pissed away on it.

It did get better gas millage, that's about it.

Go turbo.

A home made turbo set up will give you better results, as well as make you feel that you've accomplished something. Gather, assembling and tuning your own system is something to be proud of. Your wallet will thank you too.

No doubt, Go turbo.

I don't really have much respect for superchargers since I've gone *** deep in the world of turbos. Great for many applications and linear power. Great for just a simple bolt on if you have a very late model car and the money to spend (say you want to add 100HP on your all stock suburban).

You have more then enough resources to pimp your ---- out with a turbo, especially on a z6. If you got more money then brains then do what u want but this is HOMEMADETURBO.com

Yeah roots blowers produce insane amounts of HP on big block v8s. The problem you still run into is the drag on the motor that the supercharger produces.

We all know that we all be cheap asses. The people affording superchargers don't really visit this website.
