You need to know trim.
Learn to read a compressor map and understand the flow requirements for your motor at HP.
I know nothing of VTEC, but my old school 2.4L motor (sub 300hp) the t3/t04 V-trim was too big. It'd spool, but there are better more efficient turbos out there for small displacement.

im using a ching chang chong meyow turbo on this springs progject ...... t3/4 .57 trim .63 hot and cold.... its on a b18 and it is plenty eficient......
it will spool on the d16, but imo its a little to big for that motor...

I had the same setup on the d15b for a little while. It took forever to spool that turbo. Like 5500 rpm!! ------- sucks. At that point full boost to 11 psi is almost instant. Welcome to HMT and turbo lag **** smoker.
