My budget has changed through the months of building my kit. First i was going to run the fmu and some other stuff, but then w/ the reading i was doing i learned from others mistakes to go a different route. Sometimes things don't work out the way u want them to. My kit is a little over 1k and that's b/c of the xtra's i decide to buy. I bought and xtra turbo, oilpan, and some other stuff. My first turbo was free so it kinda even out. I have an xtra motor in case i blow my current one and suppose to go an pick up another motor next week, but this one is free also. I just couldn't turn it down, it's free.

Always keep in mind things will go wrong, but be prepared for some of the problems that may occur. Ur fuel management should be ur main concern when building a kit so read up more on that. Do a compression test and figure out if it's worth putting a kit on that motor. Do some more reading and you'll be surprise of what some ppl go through.

I will have just a little over $300 in my 100%hmt kit.
its going on a 175,000 mile D16z6. i figure if i blow it, the turbo kit is being sold and a JDM D15 will be in its place.

HMT kit as in:
hf manifold, AP, turbo and DSM IC -$125
oil lines- $75
piping, got the straight ---- for free
2 crush bends, flex pipe, exhaust mani gasket, and some instagasket (i wasnt payin $30 for a oil pan gasket, insta gasket will work just fine) $30
couplers $20
new boost gauge $35
and im planning on $25 for ---- i havent bought but know im gonna need -that ---- that always pops up.

total, thats $310 and I have no BOV yet.

ohh yeah, and you can add in $100 for a used exedy clutch i got to. but that isnt part of the T kit, but to give you a good idea of what can be spent.

with the clutch, a little over $400.
