Most people weld all the pipes up either because they are baller, or broke and dont want to spend a bunch on clamps. It is also nice having them welded because there are less joints to worry about coming apart. Eitherway, HMT says more clamps, home depot couplers, and jb weld will always get your problems solved. If you do have problems blowing pipes off, OC sauce works wonders as glue

I like a lot of couplers. It allows more movement than a single welded pipe. Go watch some dyno pulls with the hood up. ---- moves around...

werd....if you dont have stiff mounts, more couplers are better. On my last few setups ive done each side of the piping as one solid pipe (total of 4 couplers), but in my most recent hatch it caused issues because the mounts werent very stiff at all. Broke the mounting tabs off the intercooler, ripped the screws out that held the ic on, etc.
