Re: Cavalier 2200 TURBO....... Before and After PICS INSIDE BITCHES
I dont care wether or not the cavilier can beat a corvette.
1. 1/10th sec per 100lbs? I can believe that internet myth is still alive.
2. Dont talk ---- about a 400hp "built" honda motor when your modded TWO.TWO LITER cant break 230hp.
3. You drive a "new" (5 year old) cavalier. You really dont have room to make fun of other rides, even 15 year old hondas.
other than that, carry on.

i think your full of yourself
so lets start over your mid 14 second car against a high to mid 13 second car, i'm gonna call bs on that also...get your head out of your *** and stop with the bragging/lieing

I now have updated numbers, etc...... haven't posted because I haven't had reason to post the dyno sheet yet.... MORON................
I ran 231whp and 241wtq at 8.5psi this time around ...... if you'd like I could post the dyno chart.... NO PROBLEM...... like I did last time ...... just because I didn't post about it on JBO, doesn't mean it didn't happen...........
I was getting heat from people on JBO about posting my numbers.... so when I fixed the eletrical problems in nov, I towed it and got it re dynoed............. @ 8.5 psi .... put down more then I did at 10.8 psi........ the car was obviously fixed.........
since then I fixed everything else.... (blown turbo, etc...).........
so why don't you get your head out of your ***...........shut the ---- up .......... and know your role...... volume king my ***..............
let me know if you guys want the chart.......

You've obviously never gutted a FWD; short of a few accessories like AC that mean dick in the total outcome, 95% of the weight comes from mid-vehicle back. Think about it.

Anywhoo, we know that on a see-saw(sp?) the weight of the board is evenly distributed due to a support placed dead center. This way, if weight was removed from the rear, then more weight would be placed on the front. A vehicle is not made this way as you very well know. The weight in the rear intern places a load on the front because as the middle is acted upon by a force, it is distributed throughout the body. Thus, weight in the rear and middle, does infact affect the weight placed on the front wheels. It may not affect it to a massive degree, but it does infact play a role. If you have individual scales, do the expierement, if I am proved wrong, then I am wrong, but I think the difference will be apparent.
Also, about a year ago there was a link posted in the general discussion on this board I believe, in which a vehicle was stripped to the bare minimum, using something like an aluminum seat, frame, steering wheel and motor. No roof, no panels, no nothing besides what makes it go, and the improvements in ET showed that the gains were nothing like 10hp/100lbs.

bubba

Re: Cavalier 2200 TURBO....... Before and After PICS INSIDE BITCHES
Why are you knocking on people with older cars? You have a newer cavalier for one, the cavalier is far from anything worth bragging about and secondly you have a stripped out car. A completly stripped out cavi is gonna be as much a peice of ---- as a 15 year old car, the funny thing a crx with a clean paint job and a decent motor will sell for more then your stripped pos cavi. I REALLY hope that darwin does us all a favor and you wrap your self around a tree in your "fast" cavailier the next time your compelled to be a jack *** street racing moron.

200hp at 3000lbs is one second slower than
200hp at 2000lbs, which is one second slower than
200hp at 1000lbs, which is one second slower than
200hp at zero lbs.
Makes perfect sense.
Dont try reasoning with this dick face, he doesnt know ----.
bottom line? lbs/hp is a decent comparison, not that 1/10 sec/100lbs retarded monkey bullshit.

I changed lots of stuff
Fiero 2.8L Screw-in IAT sensor
4 wire HEATED primary o2 Sensor
redid the charge piping to be able to fit the strut bar........
redid the oil return fitting and the oil return line (3/4")
moved the oil catch can and re-routed it into the intake on the turbo
and rebuilt the turbo ( it blew the hotside oil seal because the return was too small)
ON WITH THE PICS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and i find it hard to believe that you wouldn't post an updated dyno chart, when you will post updated pictures of your charge piping doesn't make much sence
and the blown turbo was before you even dyno'd the FIRST time so thats not one of the "problems" you've fixed since you dyno'd last
