calculation? your intercooler is very small. look at the inlet and outlet diameter of the the intercooler and then look at the size of the pipes going in and out of the intercooler. its a large reduction that the boost need to go through. an intercooler is a restriction by nature. well designed intercoolers can reduce pressure by as little as 0.2 psi while poorly designed intercoolers can reduce boost pressure by 2 psi or more. reguardless of the boost drop the intercooler can lose the main point of the intercooler is to cool the air charge which in your case it is doing no such thing. i understand your upset by my recommendation because you spent a whopping 5 hours on your build and you think you know more than everyone else but i am a trained technician and have extensive knowledge in engine and turbo design. my main source of turbo builds is on motorcycles and every once in a while i do a turbo build on an automobile so i think my recommendation is more than adequate.

im not upset at all, lol! im just a bit surpized that u think my intercooler idea is totally useless, awh well, what if I encased that intercooler in water?

your best bet is using a water to air intercooler. its just a little more work but it will benefit your setup.

you will need the following:
water to air intercooler
water hose
misc an fittings
water pump
water resevoir
radiator

my suggestion would be:

create ducting from the front of the car to funnel into the intercooler. do not allow for air to bypass it.

something like the picture below
