Carburetor Turbo DONE!

Hi all! I Have joined this forum because I built my own DIY Turbo conversion on my carburetor Nissan GA15DS, check out my build on this site

http://www.nissanownersclub.co.za/fo...ic.php?t=10692

I know this is mostly a Honda users site and I know most guys still drive the carb versions of the honda's, you guys can do this too, its sooooo cheap

feel free to ask questions

There is induction pipes running from the bottom of the car to the intercooler, can you those 2 black pipes connected to the intercooler? also my bonnet is lifted to the max a the back, so there is also no engine bay heat that can heat up the intercooler :D

you might as well remove the intercooler as it is doing nothing on that setup. the flex hoses will do nothing to cool off the charge pressure because there restrictive and there only sending air to a small portion of the intercooler. you need to build a box around the intercooler and make piping that will actually flow to the intercooler in order for that ramming effect to do anything. why didnt you put it in the front of the radiator? it would be easier if you used a water to air cooler instead of the air to air cooler your using now.

dude, this was all done in 5hours and 5 beers, im not a mechanic im a I.T. tech, I know the intercooler is not 100% now, just need more $$$ for a better intercooler setup, total cost was R6000

i understand but as of right now its just a restriction. remove it and wait till you have more money to make it better. thats all im saying.
