Turn the distributor counterclockwise (correct me if i'm wrong) to retard the ignition timing if your gonna drive it without proper fuel management just to be safe then get your ecu chipped, also have that person (i.e. Xenocron) put a base map on there that way you can save up some $$ to tune and still have the car run alot better then an FMU would

Still, that's only a band-aid fix to a bigger problem. Something WILL ---- up sooner or later without engine management of some kind... God only knows what your A/F looks like, coupled with fucked up timing...

Dude,

Have a look at the SDS EIC2.

I had it on my car.. It looks GHETTO, but works awesome..

I'm actually selling it now, they are sometimes easy to get under $150.00 on E-GAY, but are normally $400 ish new...
