lmao, i love these threads. "I half assed my setup and it runs like ----.. , why?"

you should know why your car runs like ---- because your not running any fuel managment or intercooler with a ------- T3/T4 turbo BWAHAHAHA, hope you throw a rod through your block and it hits you in the nuts on your way home

post your setup and i can tell you. but from your username i will guess that your obd2.

so here is what you will need

obd1 to obd2 conversion harness--40 used
chipped ecu---100 to 140
dsm 450's --60

might look expensive but way cheaper then wasting money on an fmu and new motor.

IC/ timing= FIX!!!

My stock teg runs the same way. I'm in the south. Cool, damp air makes my car run perfect (early morning) . Hot, shitty, humid weather (5pm, 100+ degrees) makes it run like a slug in salt.

Holy WOW! You're in SOCAL!! Tell me you don't know tuners! WTF? How do I set my timing? Wow.. To be honest with you guy, you just need to loosen your dizzy (that's HMT for distributor) bolts, and turn the bitch a little bit. You know where you idle should be.. RIGHT? . Don't forget to tighten them! Send ure ECU to Xenocron. Let him beef it a lil bit, and throw the bitch back in!

i know how to adjust the ignition timing but what im asking is where to set the timing(which line)? ok ill find a place to get my p28 chipped but for now u guys think having a fmu is better than nothing at all?( ill have my ecu chipped next week or next month as budget allows) will it make more power with the fmu compared right now that i dont have any engine or fuel management?

but first i gotta check whats wrong with the timing, i was thinkin it might be my timing belt off by a tooth or more with the camgear cause i remember a mechanic was saying something with the camgear is off by a tooth or something like that..........i dont know im just confused
