Car cuts out at 8.5 psi
I just got my manual boost controller and tried to up the boost a bit.. I was running the stock actuator at 7.5 psi before the boost controler... Now I tried to up the boost and as soon as it hits 8.5 psi the car cuts out like it is shutting down. But as long as I keep it below 8.5 it runs great. Any ideas what could be causing it?
My setup is an RHB5 on a DOHC ZC with turboedit and DSM 450's

Mine is doing the same thing, it's almost like hitting a rev limiter isn't it? I'm running 9-9.5 psi but my does it when i hit 6000 rpms, but when I change into 2nd, it pulls hard again all the way up to 6000rpms agian, then cuts out?! someone said it might be a knock sensor, not sure though.
There is a new bin for this boost cut bug, read this https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...threadid=24537
I had that problem for awhile now, car will run fine but as soon as it hits 6-8 PSI it will somewhat feel like the motor is hitting a rev limiter.
Nothing worked, i took out my MSD coil, changed EVERYTHING, new ignitor, new stock coil, new cap, new rotor, new spark plugs. and the car ran good for a day, then BACK to problem
ever since i installed turbo kit i would always have a slight popping sound coming from my exhaust in high boost...no matter what is did, i could not get rid of that.
One day i took my OLD SPARK plugs, and gapped them .30, installed them, then the car ran PERFECTLY fine (better than EVER, no popping sound), ever since. I put back in the MSD coil, and everything i took out. and it still is running good. it has been a week since i did this, and it is still smooth as hell, even when the day is REALLY HOT, it runs really smooth and pulls hard.
